Regular (Mainstream) K-6
The regular, or mainstream, program at Pollard Meadows School provides instruction that follows the mandated Alberta curriculum. A student-centred, balanced approach is used in the teaching of literacy. Students begin French as a Second Language instruction for 150 minutes per week beginning in Grade 4. Students with special learning needs are fully included in the regular classroom setting. Instruction is differentiated to meet individual student needs.
Pollard Meadows School is a popular choice with many families and our school facilities are at capacity. Edmonton Public Schools has designated our school as having Optimal Enrolment Limits. This means the number of students that can be accommodated is limited. Limitations apply to the total school building, to certain classes, and to particular programs. The limits do not apply to students living within the defined attendance area(s) for our school. Pollard Meadows School will accommodate as many students as possible up to the optimal enrolment guideline. This means we are able to accept registrations in our mainstream program from families who live outside our attendance area if there is space. These boundaries are:

- SOUTH of 23rd Avenue
- WEST of Mill Woods Road
